ForEverAfter evolved
from a fascination with the pure ringing and organic nature of the stringed harp accompanying the lyrical and tranquil tones of the tenor sax and bass clarinet.
Originally crafted around duets for saxophone and harp,
I eventually expanded orchestrations to include a wider palette of instruments for different musical arrangements.
While "Pure Imagination" (Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory) maintains the intimacy of the duo, other songs like "Across the Stars" (Star Wars: Episode II) add a classic woodwind quintet, and "Think of Me" (The Phantom of the Opera) features a full orchestra.
As a composer, arranger, and producer, I’ve been writing music for orchestral instruments since 2013.
Developing music for ForEverAfter has been a wonderful vessel for exploring so many incredible melodies that are deceivingly tricky to interpret and express on woodwinds and harp.
Fragments of ForEverAfter is the online debut of this project, featuring live video excerpts from past performances in 2021.
